Palestine Peace Solidarity is a group that disseminates information on Palestine to ensure that the Palestinian voice is not forgotten. We manage webzine Olive, which carries translated documents from the Palestinian Center for Human Rights.
Fridays at 7 p.m. we hold weekly meetings and work on creating resource materials on Palestine.
(Sorry, Olive is Korean only.)
There exist many movements in this world: political movements, labor movements, feminist movements, and we want to exercise our voice among them.
We wish for the realization of freedom, equality, and peace for the Palestinian people and their land.
We want Israel and the United States to end the occupation and exercise restraint in Palestine.
Sometimes we use words, pictures, and song.
We can hear the Palestinian voices, and we want to deliver our voice to Palestine so they know that they are not alone.
The magazine is called Olive because we wish to grow closer to Palestinians, and olives are deeply connected to the lives of Palestinians.
We want people who are interested in and feel close to Palestine.
We don’t think that we are always perfect or right, and we are interested in hearing different opinions. We believe that the world can be made a better place by creating a bridge between Korea and Palestine.
